Farm My School
Farm My School is a groundbreaking not-for-profit organisation that reimagines education through regenerative market gardens, creating sustainable hubs that nourish, educate, and connect communities. We convert underutilised school land into thriving market gardens that produce fresh, affordable food while inspiring young people and families to build local resilience.
FMS exists because we believe lasting food system change starts with how we learn, grow, and connect. Our innovative model empowers communities with practical knowledge and dignified access to healthy food whilst driving systemic change from the ground up.
This integrated approach is building towards communities where:
Schools become catalysts for community food security and environmental stewardship.
Young people are equipped with the skills and knowledge to lead sustainable food system transformation.
Families have dignified access to fresh, nutrient-dense food regardless of their economic circumstances.
Communities understand the vital connection between soil health, human health, and planetary wellbeing.
With PMF Foundation's support, we're expanding this impact through our Pilot Veggie Box Delivery Program, providing weekly home deliveries of fresh, seasonal produce to households across the Bellarine Peninsula and Greater Geelong. This removes transport barriers and creates pathways for families experiencing financial hardship to access healthy food with dignity.
By demonstrating that schools can be powerful agents of systems change, we're creating a replicable model that addresses food insecurity, youth disengagement, and environmental degradation simultaneously proving that education, agriculture, and health strengthen each other.
We're grateful for PMF Foundation's support in scaling innovative, community-led solutions that create lasting systemic change for healthier, more resilient communities.
