2025 COLLAB Small Grant Results
The PMF Foundation were blown away by the calibre of applications received for the inaugural 2025 COLLAB Small Grant Program. The showcase of how collaboration is driving greater impact and reach across our community was both commendable and inspiring.
This grant round was open to organisations with DGR 1 status delivering activities in the G21 region (City of Greater Geelong, Borough of Queenscliffe, Golden Plains Shire, Surf Coast Shire and Colac Otway Shire). A key criterion was a strong demonstration of collaboration – whether between not-for-profit organisations, community groups, schools, businesses, or directly with community members.
Unlike our usual themed grant rounds, this program was open to all focus areas. This gave the PMF Foundation the opportunity to extend our support into new spaces, including the sustainable food sector and food relief, homelessness and housing, mental health, youth engagement, refugee support, corrections education, and initiatives supporting women experiencing family violence, to name a few.
As a Foundation based in Torquay, it is important to us to dedicate funding specifically to the G21 region, and we are truly excited to see the 2025 grant projects come to life for the benefit of our local community.
We are thrilled to welcome Common Ground Project, Federation TAFE, Farm My School, Geelong Foodshare, Ocean Mind, Our Village, and the Power in You Project to our grantee family. We look forward to seeing how your partnerships flourish and strengthen the G21 community as a whole.
